GiveAway Time!! Who Wants FREE STUFF?!

It’s GiveAway time!!

Many of you have sent me messages and/or commented on how you wish you could have some of the thrift store items that I’ve found, and now here’s your chance.  This is something that I’ve wanted to do for a very long time and I’m really excited to (finally) get it underway!

What Are You Giving Away?

I’m guessing this is the question that most of you are thinking right now so let’s just get this one out of the way first.

Because this is my 1st GiveAway and because these were the 1st group of items that I started reselling on eBay, I though it would be fitting giving away a pair of these:  the Nike LeBron 9 IX’s!!

Here’s some pics: Lebronix

These shoes are youth size 2.5 so they’re perfect for any young Lebron fans that you know. They have the usual signs of wear that you would expect from a thrift store item (scuffs and creases on the soles and toe box, and the a Nike sign on the left pair is faded) but you should still be able to get a good price if you plan to resell them on eBay.

Plus, the NBA Finals are about to start so there should be a lot of Lebron and Miami Heat fans who are scrolling through eBay right now.

Here’s some recent auctions that just ended:

Lebron IX completed listings

I can’t guarantee that you’ll get similar results, but if these guys sold their pair for that price then why can’t you?

Is it FREE to Enter?

It’s ABSOLUTELY FREE to enter and you don’t have to spend a single dime!  I’ll even pay for the postage to mail the shoes (US only, no International shipping)!

To enter, please scroll down to locate the entry form on the bottom of this post.  Simply sign in with your Facebook account or email address and complete one or all of the following (further instructions found on the Giveaway Form found on the bottom of this post):

  • Follow me on Twitter
  • Retweet a Message
  • Leave a comment on this blog post.

Each one counts as one (1) entry so the more you do, the higher you chances of winning.  That’s it, and you will automatically be entered to win!  A random winner will be selected at the end of the GiveAway and the shoes will be shipped as soon as the winner’s shipping address is confirmed.

(Note:  I will be contacting the winner via email to confirm shipping address, so please use an email address that you frequently check.  If I can’t confirm a shipping address or if the original winner isn’t responding to emails, another winner will be selected.)

I have met some amazing people through this blog and hearing all of your success stories has given so much inspiration and motivation to continue doing what I’m doing.   This GiveAway is just a small token of my appreciation and I hope to run many more of these events in the near future.

Thank you again for all your support and encouragement, and good luck!!

  2. Most memorable find was a factory sealed unopened Jumanji Board Game, I loved the movie and never played the game but it cost me $3.99 and sold on ebay BIN $69.99

  3. most memorable item. Bought a women’s faux fur coat for a dime. Got it home and it wasn’t fake (and therefore I had to sell it….boo) got 175.00 for it. Awesome thanks for running a giveaway!

  4. Meinard, I just want to say thank for maintaining this site. My most memorable eBay sale was a polo shirt for the US Marine Embassy Security Group from Havana, Cuba. I found it at Goodwill and paid $3.74 (tax included). Ended up selling for $42 which is a win in my book.

  5. Thanks for this giveaway! We have just started selling on ebay and your knowledge is extremely valueable! Our most memorable thing so far (in our short selling time) was a set of Mickey Mouse sheets that we bought for a quarter and sold for $49.99! :) I hope to have many better sales than this but so far that’s the best.

  6. Thanks for sharing all your wisdom Meinard! Bought a women’s Masters sweater for $3.00 and sold it for $68

  7. Hmm, a recent memorable sale was a giant stuffed Simba. I paid $1 and sold for $40. That was great, but what made it even better was when the buyer e-mailed me to say how excited her little boy would be to get this for a gift!
