About

Hi, my name is Meinard.  I’m a 29 year-old guy living in Hawaii.  I enjoy watching my LAKERS play ball and anything that involves hanging out with my family and friends.

So why did I start this blog?

I’ve been reselling thrift store items on Ebay for five years now. I’m not here to lie to you and tell you that reselling thrift store items will make you a millionaire, or that you should retire from you’re job to be a full-time reseller. That’s not why I started this blog. The truth is that reselling probably won’t make you a millionaire, but reselling can be a great secondary source of income for anyone!!

The profits that I’ve made from thrift store reselling pays my monthly phone bills, credit card bills, and even my student loan payments. And I still have enough left aside for “beer money” and taking my girlfriend out to dinner. It’s not rocket science and I’m confident that anyone can do this.

With this blog, I hope to create a place where resellers can connect and share ideas.  I wanted to create a venue where I can share my passion and teach others how to do the same thing.

I’m not an expert by any means and I realize that I still have A TON of things to learn.  But what I do have is years of experience that have brought me many successess and failures.  I plan to share those lessons with you so that  you can avoid the mistakes that I’ve made and hopefully-with some persistence and a little bit of luck-you will start making additional income as a reseller too!!

Good luck with the treasure-hunt!

  1. Hi, Meinart, I am a 68 year old American /Filippino and I am impressed with your selling and blog information. I have been selling on Amazon (many years) and recently(2 years ) on Ebay. You are on the money with your ideas and advice. I will sign up tonight for your reseller information and start using your advice for Savers and Goodwill. I was born in the Philippines, have many family members there that I have never seen. I still have a closeness for the Mother country. Prince

    1. Hi Prince, it’s nice to meet you and maraming salamat po for your support! I was born in the Philippines also and I moved to Hawai’i when I was 6 years old. The majority of my relatives are still in the Philippines though and I actually just went back a few weeks ago to visit my grandmother. I really wish I could still speak Tagalog (I can understand the language but I have trouble speaking now) but regardless it was great to be back home.

Thank you again Prince for all your support and if you have any questions or if there’s any way that I can help please let me know and I’ll do my best to help. Have a great day!

  2. Hey Meinard!

I just wanted to let you know that I stumbled across your site in December, and decided to take a trip to the thrift store. I started selling and it quickly grew. Here we are 3 months later and I have made $19,000 in PROFITS–yes, profits on eBay! So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your input and training resources!
I am humbled and blessed to have come across your website.

    Keep it up, bro!

    1. Hey Corey, thank you for reaching out and sharing your success story. I absolutely LOVE hearing reading these type of messages because it’s evident that you did one important thing and that’s TAKE ACTION! Thank you for the kind words but all the credit goes to you – you found all the thrift store items, you listed them on eBay, and you shipped them out. I may have provided some information but all that means nothing without the action that you took. So again, congratulations on all your success and I look forward to hearing even more great things from you.

      Cheers!

  3. Just an update, (we spoke about the fake jordans one time) It seems your blog on http://www.thriftstorereseller.com/page/2/ and forward isn’t working properly. I Tried it on chrome and firefox and it looks like the CSS file is not doing it’s job on those pages.

Thanks for all the great content: Let the Sales continue! Oh, and will you be doing an income report like before? I remember you wanting to reach a goal of $10,000/m. I was following that…

    1. Hey Mike, it’s good to hear from you! Thanks for letting me know about the error, I just checked page 2 and forward and you’re absolutely right – they’re not working properly at all and I’ll try to get that fixed asap. As far as the income report, I’ve actually had several people come forward and ask me if I could start that again. Maybe not right now because I’m working on a couple of things at the moment but hopefully soon.

Thanks again for reaching out, it’s always good to hear from you. Hope your sales are through the roof!
